Mason Gray is an interior design studio specializing in restaurants, hospitality spaces, and high-end residential projects. Based in Mexico City and working globally, we design spaces that are technically rigorous, visually distinctive, and built to last — spaces people return to, talk about, and remember.
We work with a select group of clients each year. Every project gets our full attention, from the first conversation to opening night.
Our aesthetic favors layered, eclectic environments. We create spaces that feel collected rather than decorated, rooted in materiality and craft, and confident enough to mix styles, periods, and references in ways that feel wholly their own.
Mason Gray has lead projects across Mexico and the United States, including in Mexico City, New York, Florida, and Texas. Our team is fully fluent in English and Spanish, and we value projects that reflect our experience working across cultures and creative disciplines.
ABOUT CHLOÉ
Founder & Creative Director
Raised in a creative household in New York City, Chloé was surrounded by a deep respect for craft and aesthetics from an early age. Her mother was a fashion designer; her father restored antiques. Summers apprenticing with a gilder taught her the nuances of fine furniture finishes, and her love of cultural history, art, and design eventually led her to earn a degree in Art History from New York University.
Before founding her design studio, Chloé spent over a decade in the tech industry, where she built a strong foundation in project management, operations, and strategic thinking — skills that now underpin her studio's highly organized design process.
Today, Chloé leads Mason Gray from its base in Mexico City. Her work draws on her art history background, time living in Florence, Rome, and London, and her deep connection to Mexican culture and craftsmanship. Her spaces feel collected rather than decorated — layered with custom pieces, considered antiques, and finishes that reward a closer look. She is drawn to bold color, unexpected combinations, and the tension between refinement and warmth. No two Mason Gray projects look alike, but all of them feel unmistakably intentional.
